2. A Working Computer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGkkyKZVzug Ever since the dawn of time, people have been asking: "When will we be able to program a computer inside of another computer?" I'm not going to pretend to even understand how or why this works but people far smarter than I can create computers inside Minecraft - working computers able to function as calculators through witchcraft, no doubt. Even more interesting is the potential possibilities this creates; could Minecraft eventually develop its own in-game programming language? If you're at all interested in the very basics of computing, there are some great examples of it created in Minecraft already. Us simpletons unable to fully appreciate the technological marvel of these redstone computers can simply look on in wonder at the immense size of these builds and circuits; some of the earliest computers are simply enormous and must have taken weeks to plan out and create. Could we eventually see artificial intelligence created in Minecraft? It's a scary thought isn't that how the human race got killed off in the Terminator? 1. Westeros (Game Of Thrones)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwyqAA_TpKo Have you ever been really proud of something you've built in Minecraft? We've all toiled away for hours on end creating our own blocky wonder and there's no better feeling than stepping back and taking the finished product in. How satisfying must it be to recreate the entirety of a fictional world then? Since 2011, WesterosCraft have been recreating the world of Game of Thrones (and A Song Of Ice And Fire, of course) in Minecraft through unbelievable levels of teamwork and dedication. The entire map is the same size (in square miles) as Los Angeles and features scaled replicas of the major landmarks from Game of Thrones. It's an ongoing process with constant revisions and rebuilds but the details are incredible. For example, King's Landing features over 3000 buildings (all fully furnished); a sewer system that runs through the entire city; and the Red Keep in all its glory. Even the home furnishings are tailored to ensure complete accuracy; the illiterate lower classes must never own a bookshelf, for example. The creators of WesterosCraft have said that they hope to turn the world into a playable RPG once finished, filled with quests and NPCs - clearly their ambitions know no boundaries. Until then, you can dive in and explore for yourself (though you won't be able to build anything, for obvious reasons) or, if you think you can contribute, apply to become a builder and help create this incredible monument to George RR Martin's works. Perhaps you could even pretend it's all your own hard work (although I highly doubt anyone would believe you). So that's 15 incredible Minecraft creations but as I said earlier - there's literally hundreds more that could have been featured. Let me know which Minecraft builds you're envious of (or use this as an opportunity to show off your own creation) in the comments below.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
