Where to start? Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

After having one of its finest instalments (Advanced Warfighter) launch alongside the Xbox 360, Ghost Recon never truly managed to maintain that substantial momentum. Which is a shame, as there have been plenty stellar instalments across its history - even Wildlands is attempting to take the series into uncharted territory once again.

From the first-person tactility of the aforementioned to the third-person, Splinter Cell-influenced stealth missions of Future Soldier, the Tom Clancy branding has always felt strongest when paired with near-future tech and cold, hard espionage, giving Ghost Recon an brilliant appeal that elegantly walks between fiction and non-fiction.

Oh, and synchronising headshots so your whole team can fell a camp in seconds? That's.just.awesome.
