15 Most Disappointing Video Games Of The Decade (So Far)

14. Forza Motorsport 5

Forza has always been vital to the Xbox, so it's no wonder Microsoft turned to the racing series when looking for launch titles for the Xbox One. Given the quality of the previous instalments, the Xbox One looked set to have it's first must-own game. Things didn't exactly work out like that though. At it's core, Forza 5 is a great game; the driving mechanics have never been better, thanks to the improved rumble of the Xbox One controller. Combined with some gorgeous graphics which really make the most of the upgraded hardware, Turn 10 were onto a winner. However, at launch, the game was bogged down by micro-transactions and a lack of content. Many fans complained about the reduced number of tracks and cars; it had less than half the content featured in Forza 4. Plus, the game actively encouraged players to use real money to buy in-game cars, by severely decreasing the amount of coins earned by racing. Understandably, fans were not happy and drastic changes have been made to the game since launch, in order to smooth things over. Forza 5 should have been an early jewel in the Xbox One's crown - instead, it angered the fans and forced Turn 10 into some serious grovelling.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
