15 Most Overrated Video Games Of The Generation (So Far)

7. Fallout 4

Hellblade Senua Sacrifice
Bethesda

Like most of the entries on this list, Fallout 4 is a good game, but it's far from a great one.

Coming seven years after the previous instalment in the franchise, the title was incredibly anticipated in the run up to its release, and it could be argued that it never had a chance of living up to the massive hype that surrounded it.

Players weren't disappointed just because the game failed to live up to impossible expectations though, they were frustrated because at the end of the day, Fallout 4 was just more Fallout.

Improving only slightly on the foundation of the third release, the sequel didn't bring that much new to the table, and the big changes it did make were contentious to say the least.

Underwhelming DLC expansions didn't help matters either, and after everything was said and done, the long wait between instalments didn't seem worth it.
