15 Resident Evil Games - Ranked From Worst To Best
11. Resident Evil 5
To start off, Resident Evil 5 is by no means a bad game, sure it isn't scary even in the slightest, but it follows on from RE4 and the great shooter experience that provided.
It doesn't really mess with RE4's action, it tunes the actual mechanics whilst placing the players in more ridiculous, but fun levels. As we know, an active volcano being one, along with an underground Aztec "community", a ship, swamps and of course the African town at the start.
You play as Chris Redfield who teams with Sheva Alomar to take on Albert Wesker and his plan of "Complete. Global. Saturation" with these giant wriggly worm virus things known as Uroboros.
Each boss fight is fun, fighting multiple Uroboros, scorpion/bat monsters, giants and obviously Albert Wesker.
It is most certainly required to play it co-op, otherwise, AI frustration will kick in and then all the B-movie, horror camp won't be funny and all you'll end up blindly seeing is just an un-scary, run-of-the-mill, action RE game.
