15 Video Games That Every True Gamer Should Have Completed
4. Shadow Of The Colossus
You may well have heard people of the net singing the praises of Shadow of the Colossus. Nothing I can say can put into words exactly how this experience makes you feel, but it's certainly one of the most unique in gaming. To fully understand the importance of Shadow of the Colossus, you need to see it through to the very end and learn something about yourself and the nature of humanity. The sense of scale this game delivers is almost unprecedented. You, a mere tiny human, are alone in a huge area filled with mysterious ruins, the decay of civilisations past and tasked with putting a stop to the Colossi, massive beings that live in this eerie, empty world. You don't why you're doing it or what you're working towards, but you understand that you grow in power with each Colossi you defeat, becoming an adept at surviving in this world that feels right at the ends of the earth. As I said, I can't spoil the ending of this game as I'd feel I'd be dong it an injustice. You owe it to yourself to experience this through to the end and experience what it's likely to question what you've done.
