3. Aloha Ice Jam - SSX Tricky
What level did you play most on SSX Tricky? It was Garibaldi, wasn't it? Maybe Elysium Alps if you were feeling adventurous. The one you didn't go back back to - any more than the main progression demanded anyway, was the impossible-to-master Aloha Ice Jam. Starting with a tight corner and a slippery patch of ice (a great combo for a game built on speed) you'd end up restarting the race multiple times to even get a decent position off the starting line. From there it was a hodgepodge of big air jumps and landing zones that required your momentum be pushing in a certain direction, or you were inevitably flung off into the background or another obstacle in the environment Considering how sublime the majority of the levels already were in the first SSX - which Tricky revamped or added to in various ways - some of the more complex ones simply didn't need additional items or obstacles to pad them out, with Ice Jam being the worst offender.
