7. Shadow Man

Acclaim's Shadow Man is an undeniable cult classic, a superbly atmospheric action-adventure game revolving around the titular superhero, a voodoo warrior who protects the world of the living from the world of the dead.

Though decidedly rough-around-the-edges, the characterisation, voice acting and overall tone were like nothing else released at the time, allowing it to endure with its loyal, ahem, Legion of fans over the last 20 years.

How Likely Is It?: With Acclaim long-dead, there could be some rights issues to wade through, but above all else the game probably just isn't popular enough to get the remake treatment, in all honesty.
