17 Classic Video Games That Must Be Remade

12. Conker's Bad Fur Day

Conker's Bad Fur Day
Rare

Original Release Date: March 5, 2001

Conker's Bad Fur Day is one of the N64's most beloved cult classics, a truly grown-up adventure title that reveled in its own lack of political correctness while serving up hilarious parodies of numerous classic movies such as Alien and The Terminator.

In fairness, the game was sorta-remade back in 2005 with Conker: Live & Reloaded, but Rare also made a number of unnecessary changes to the single-player campaign that rubbed a lot of fans the wrong way. A direct remake, with no modern affectations, is really what most fans are craving.

How Likely Is It?: Microsoft hasn't exactly treated Conker with much respect over the last decade, cancelling numerous games and creating the much-loathed Young Conker project for their HoloLens hardware, so fans will probably have to make do with the untouched re-release from 2015's Rare Replay collection.
