18 Hugely Anticipated Video Games That Must Be At E3 2015

3. Ratchet And Clank

Did you know the Ratchet and Clank movie they've been working on is being shown at this year's Cannes Film Festival? Not only that, but as confirmed through a tweet from Insomniac stating that development was coming along fine, there's also new game arriving too. With hardly anything out there other than said tweets noting it's a "re-imagining" of the first game with enough tweaks and additions to also make it a movie tie-in, you're then free to ruminate on the possibilities of a PS4-powered sequel and all the trimmings that come alongside. Many will remember the spectacular early games in the series for being perfect mash-ups of shooter-based gameplay twinned with some brilliantly Pixarian animation and platforming that made it all a total joy to play, and along Jak and Daxter, Ratchet's the other side to that coin that helped prove 3D platformers can be downright impeccable games. Later down the line the series would embrace the shooter aspects of its brethren far more than it should have, but think back to the PS3's inaugural Tools of Destruction and just how spot-on it managed to get everything back in 2007. Let's have more of that with some more unique guns, power-ups and extra graphical flourish just to round everything off - the PS4's in desperate need of a brilliant platformer after Knack, and this could slot into the lineup perfectly.
