7. Listen To The Fairy! - The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time (N64, 1998)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is full of amazing sound effects, many of which span the history of the Zelda franchise. One character, new to the series in Nintendo’s 1998 entry stuck with players, though. That character is the fairy, Navi.
The little fairy that hovers around Link in the game acts as the player’s navigator and aide. Once instructed by the Great Deku Tree to assist Link, she offers tips on where to go, how the controls work, and how to defeat baddies. Usefully, Navi also lets Link lock onto objects and enemies.
