After one hell of a stumble with Mass Effect 3's content distribution and endgame and Dragon Age; Inquisition's Game of the Year reprieve, Bioware are back on top form following the departure of a few key members on their team. Once it was announced they're working on an entirely new game alongside Mass Effect 4, fans' ears instantly pricked up, as by wiping the canvas clean in terms of genre, tonality or what's gone before there's just as much scope for another triple-A franchise. Shadow looks set to be a heady mix of gigantic and expansive Mass Effect-style worlds tripped out in all sorts of parallel dimension-looking gear, whilst stat-crunchers get their thinking caps on by tucking into some Dragon Age-style combat - judging by the above screen anyway.
