20 Best Game Boy & Game Boy Colour Games Of All Time
15. Kirby’s Dream Land
If you think the rest of the Kirby games are simple then you've clearly never played Kirby's Dream Land. Kirby's Dream Land can be beaten in around 30 minutes, contains four levels and a boss rush, lacks the copy abilities that are present in the other games, and doesn't even have you killing some demonic space god which is very uncharacteristic for Kirby.
So why does a game this basic deserve to be called one of the best Game Boy games? Well for that very reason, because it's so simple.
If you're ever feeling down then Kirby's Dream Land is the perfect pick me up. Adventuring through Green Greens, Castle Lololo, Float Islands, and Bubbly Clouds, before taking on some bosses in Mt. Dedede is such a charming experience.
It's also a lot of fun. The game is designed around Kirby's floating ability. Many of the later Kirby games become mindless as you can just fly through them without any conflict. Later levels in Kirby's Dream Land have enemies in the sky as well, stopping flight from becoming a solution to all of your problems.
Kirby's Dream Land is a DREAM to play. I bet nobody's made that joke before.
