20 Best Nintendo Games Of The Decade
18. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
The Luigi's mansion series took a while to actually BECOME a series rather than the one off experiment that it was for a whole generation and a half, but once it did it started off on the best foot possible with Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
Essentially being the best possible sequel that the original Luigi's Mansion could have asked for, this game takes everything set up in the first game, polishes up everything that was wrong with it, adds on some awesome stuff for kicks, and then hands it to you. You have more mansions to explore, more control over Luigi without the game feeling too easy, upgrades to make to the Poltergust, and generally more stuff to do.
While it isn't the most complex or deep game in the world, like with New Mario Bros. U, it doesn't really need to be. It was the first bit of Luigi's Mansion content we had gotten in over a decade, so its top priority was - of course - to reintroduce the idea to new and old players. And it did that splendidly.
