20 Best PlayStation Exclusives Of The Decade
5. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
Whether you think Nathan Drake is a lovable scamp or smug so-and-so, there's no denying that he picks some great places to inevitably destroy. His first three adventures on the PS3 gave more prominence to the "spectacle adventure" style of third person action title.
But all bets were off when Uncharted 4 was finally released in 2016. If any game (at the time) were to be used as a tech demo, this would have been it. A beautiful game throughout, following Drake and co. on the hunt for pirate treasure.
Sure, the story may suffer that tired TV trope of introducing previously unmentioned characters like it's nothing, but it doesn't diminish the legacy that Naughty Dog have crafted for themselves.
Completing Nate's tale, the game takes you on an adventure around the globe once more, with stunning visuals and set pieces along the way.
The story itself also brings some depth to the characters, too, whether it be Drake's self-awareness and limitations, or his presumed dead brother's initially selfish motivations from the off. Oh, and Sully and Elena are there too, or it wouldn't be worth it.
