7. Unravel Two

Back to the warm financial bosom of EA, as the first Unravel was their very first "EA Original". A gorgeously positive, so-twee-you-might-hug-your-neighbour platformer where you literally play a being made of yarn, Unravel Two takes every idea in that simplistic setup and expands upon it.

The major new feature is co-op, letting ColdWood Interactive design levels and environmental puzzles that require you to be in two places at once, or to swing and kick off walls in tandem, affecting pieces of your surroundings so newer paths fall into place.

Unlike A Way Out, this can be played solo, but the real beauty of it is finding someone close to you - a partner, best friend or otherwise - before indulging in the sheer glee that exudes from every pore of this in motion.

Not for nothing too, Unravel Two's takeaway message; itself a welcome reminder of how powerful community, understanding, self-confidence and positivity can be, is just about the most perfect thing we could all hear, given the current media climate.
