20 Best Wii Games Of All Time

3. Punch-Out!!

Mario Kart Wii
Nintendo

In Punch-Out!! you play as Little Mac, as he goes against some of the best boxers in the world. This for some reason includes Donkey Kong.

The game keeps throwing new difficult challenges in front of you. To beat them you're going to need to know the tells that each character gives off, so you can know when they're going to attack and when it's safe to go in for a punch.

It feels like a logical expansion of the Wii Sports boxing mode so if you enjoyed that then this is a must-play.

Whenever a Punch-Out!! game comes out, it ends up being one of the best games on its system, yet it never sells well enough to justify the franchise becoming a Nintendo regular.

It's in the weird Nintendo limbo where Pikmin and Star Fox exist. A place where they are allowed to be referenced and even have some characters in Smash, but they're only allowed a new game every ten years or so before being thrown back in the vault. F-Zero has long since been taken out of this limbo and shot in the back of the head.
