20 Best Wii Games Of All Time

2. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Mario Kart Wii
Nintendo

The Nintendo Wii had a pretty great launch, including something for everyone. It had Wii Sports for the family, Call of Duty 3 for your edgy brother, and a new Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for everyone else.

Twilight Princess itself is one of the best Zelda games ever made. The game has you as Link teaming up with Midna to save the world. This involves you travelling to the Twilight Realm as a wolf.

The world is huge and interesting. The combat is some of the best in the Zelda series, and the game contains some really creative dungeons such as the excellent Arbiter's Grounds and City in the Sky.

The game launched on the GameCube as well. There are not many differences between the two versions. There are a few random motion controls added to the Wii version and, let's see... oh yeah, the whole world is mirrored.

The game was originally made for GameCube, with Link being left-handed as he usually is. The problem is, it would feel weird to control somebody's left hand with your right hand and most people are right-handed.

So instead of mirroring Link, they mirrored the entire world.

Makes sense.
