11. Everything About Lazlow

While I'm on the subject of cameos, let's turn my attention to one of the most continually bizarre characters to have featured in the Grand Theft Auto series. Voiced (and regularly co-written) by the man himself, presenter Lazlow Jones is without doubt one of the funniest characters the series has ever produced.

Lazlow's behaviour over the course of his time with the games has led to all manner of ridiculous moments. From his alcohol-fuelled rants and admissions about his mother as presenter of WCTR to the outrageous sexual favours he receives as host of 'Fame or Shame', Lazlow's antics have been absurd over the years.

What's great about Lazlow is that he represents the more subtle side of Rockstar's humour, at least where delivery is concerned. So much of his behaviour is revealed through little asides or off-the-cuff comments. These are perfectly executed and regularly invoke virtual double takes in the player when they get dropped in-game.
