15. Portal 3

It's a running joke in the gaming industry that Valve can't count to the number three, given how many of their gaming franchises have stopped shy of that number. Valve are extremely cagey when it comes to discussing and unveiling their new projects, so Portal 3 could very much be deep in development already (alongside Half-Life 3, no doubt), or it could not even be a consideration: one day they may just announce it out of the blue, or it may never happen. Still, with Portal 2 hitting stores to universal acclaim three years ago, we're long overdue an announcement regarding a sequel. To date there's been nothing but a trademark filed for the game, though even this is a standard industry practice by developers in order to protect even the slightest possibility of a sequel, so it doesn't really tell us anything. It's a tough one to predict because Valve are such a shadowy company, but fingers are indeed crossed for sometime this year.
