20 Essential Gaming Sequels That Must Be Announced In 2014
13. Assassin's Creed V
Given how Assassin's Creed is an annual franchise (and one of the few not to tire itself out in doing so...yet), we can guarantee that we'll be seeing an official reveal of Assassin's Creed V (or a possible spin-off title) within the next month or so, especially considering these games work on a relatively predictable cycle: reveal in the spring, and then release at the end of the year. If "leaked" images are to be believed, the game will be set in Victorian London, though the only confirmation we have to date is that it will 100% not be set in Feudal Japan, as was initially one of the strong rumours. However, it would be nice to see Ubisoft working towards an end game with this series, because while the quality has been surprisingly consistent despite the annual releasing, the law of diminishing returns will eventually kick in, and Ubisoft needs to have the narrative ready to bring to a close in due course.
