15. Getting Shot Just Before You Throw A Grenade - Any Call Of Duty Game
TreyarchPlaying any Call of Duty game online can be a frequently frustrating experience for a number of reasons, perhaps chiefly that you're going to inevitably get schooled by some 8-year-old kid who has a whole lot more free time to play this game than you do. Still, in terms of actual gameplay mechanics, one of the most irritating things to persist throughout the series is when you're preparing to lob a grenade at an enemy, only to be shot dead a nanosecond after releasing the throw button. Most of the time the grenade will explode at your feet if it even explodes at all, when once we've released the throw button, the grenade should really be airborne straight away, our death having no impact on the trajectory of the grenade. This might seem like nit-picking to some, but it's down-right infuriating having a perfect grenade throw ruined by such a weird mechanic: if my player has lobbed the grenade a moment before dying, then my death should have zero bearing on where it ends up, but it does. Fingers crossed this gets fixed for the upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, but we won't count on it...
