20 Greatest Shooters Ever Made

7. Team Fortress 2

One of the most highly anticipated PC multiplayer titles of all time, Valve had a lot resting on their shoulders when it came to Team Fortress 2. After the renowned developers revealed that the game would be sporting a highly stylised, cel-shaded look, many fans of the original were understandably concerned. Ultimately, it was largely thanks to this bold aesthetic that Team Fortress 2 managed to get to where it is today. The whole game screamed with personality, and each class was far more than just a nondescript character just there to fill a role. Above all, Team Fortress 2 did a genius job of making a group of strangers want to work together in unison, giving one of the most satisfying team-based experiences ever made.
