4. Pokémon Contains Zombies
Fortunately, there are no human zombies - that would be fairly inappropriate. Unfortunately, the truth behind this story is even more horrifying.
Paras is a crab-type thing with mushrooms sprouting out of it - nothing too unusual about that in the world of Pokémon. Unluckily for the poor crab, they're parasitic. When Paras evolves into Parasect, the dastardly fungus engulfs its entire body and takes over - as you can see from the lack of pupils.
The fungus does all the thinking and moving, leaving the crab part zombified and lifeless - all it does is take hits from other Pokémon to protect the mushroom part. What an awful existen- is that a toadstool on your shoulder?
