16. Zombie Brad – Resident Evil 2
Brad Vickers was the cowardly pilot who left the player stranded in the original game, though he later redeems himself at the end by throwing the player a rocket launcher to defeat the tyrant and rescuing them from the mansion.
He wasn’t long for this world, though, and if the player completes a special task – making it to the police station without picking up any extra items – they can find zombie Brad shuffling around in an underpass. It’s a sad moment, but putting him out of his misery will give the player a special key to unlock a more stylish pair of clothes, and in Claire's case a new gun; so his death wasn’t a complete waste.
