The Hype: It's been an awfully long time coming, but the long-awaited sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth is finally almost here, and looks to be every bit the gloriously un-PC, smartly satirical follow-up you'd hope for.

Training its focus on sending-up superhero movies, The Fractured but Whole has a subject ripe for ribbing, and promises to give the combat system a slick update, which was by far the most-criticised aspect of the original game.

It's easy to be optimistic about this sequel at least matching if not exceeding its predecessor, and above all else, expect it to be the funniest and most boundary-pushing game of the year, yet alone the season.
