20 Most Replayable Video Game Moments Of The 2000s

6. Uncharted 2 (2009) - Hollywood Action In Nepal

This was the game that truly brought video game cinematics screaming into the seventh console generation. The stand-out section sees you running through a bombed-out Nepal, and is the perfect video game action set-piece. There are helicopters, explosions, debris flying all around you, zip-lines, and plenty of expendable goons. Like every great Hollywood action sequence, it's outright silly. Enemy gunfire is inaccurate for the sake of cinematics - at one point, you can run headlong towards a machine-gunning helicopter without being hit, because you need to get to the scripted event where Nate falls through a walkway, which breaks in just the perfect way for him to be able to climb back up it. But suspend your cynicism and embrace the action movie fan in you, because the Nepal sequence is a breathtaking experience, and one of the best technical achievements of the last console generation.
