20 Most Replayable Video Game Moments Of The 2000s

4. Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker (2002) - Sailing To New Shores

The two Zelda games released for the GameCube both deserve all-time classic status, and yet the unique art style of Wind Waker makes it feel truly timeless, and always a joy to revisit. Wind Waker's cel-shaded style is truly unique, and each of the game's varied environments will bring a smile to your face with its seemingly simple beauty. But in a game filled with visual therapy, Wind Waker's greatest pleasure can be found in the sailing between the game's many islands. As you sail through the opaque true-blue waters, you may spot an island in the distance, or another boat, and there's nothing to stop you checking it out in search of adventure. Of course, this kind of exploration and spontaneity has become a mainstay of modern open-world games, but none present it with nearly as much artistic flair as Nintendo did with Wind Waker.
