20 Most Underrated Pokémon In History
11. Rhyperior
Rhyperior gets a bad reputation because its dual Rock/Ground Type combination opens it up to an awful lot of typing weaknesses. Given how these are so vitally important, especially in competitive battling, many people seem content to leave the Pokémon alone.
Decked out with the right equipment, however, Rhyperior can have more than enough in its arsenal to counter these weaknesses. For a start, you'll want to get one with the Solid Rock ability as this will cut the damage of all super effective moves by 25% - a massive change over the course of a long battle.
Next, you'll need to EV train to ensure you can get any possible boosts to its Special Defence as this is its biggest non-typing weakness that's tough to fix. Finally, add Rock Polish to its moveset to allow it to dramatically increase its Speed early in the battle and make sure you can compete without taking too many hits first.
With the other three slots, fill you Rhperior's armoury with massively powerful attacks and let the rest fall neatly into place.
