20 Most Underrated Pokémon In History
12. Serperior
With many Grass Type Pokémon falling into middle-of-the-road territory, Serperior's alternative stat allocation makes it a very interesting choice. Sadly, however, it seems to be struggling to find favour despite being one of the coolest looking starter Pokémon evolutions of all time.
But, back to the stuff that really matters, Serperior's excellent speed is what makes it such an appealing choice. Since it's well balanced across both attacking stats and able to pick up powerful same-type attack bonus (STAB) moves - like Leaf Blade and Leaf Storm - for either, Serperior is deadly if it gets a nose in front of other Pokémon in battle.
If you can get one with the unlikely hidden ability Contrary, you'll even manage to benefit from duping an opponent who likes to alter stats. This ability reverses the effect of all stat-affecting moves, meaning that attempts to lower any of Serperior's skills would actually improve them!
