The first of two games on this list developed by Arkane Studios, Dishonored 2 wasn't quite the breakout success story that many thought it was going to be. Which was weird, because at this point it's unclear what Dishonored has to do to become a mainstream hit.

Giving players not only access to a wide variety of different playstyles and supernatural abilities, the second game also let players choose from two completely different characters, which radically altered both the gameplay and story depending on who you chose.

There's no way to see everything Dishonored 2 has to offer on a first playthrough, but fortunately the quality of both the title's gameplay and writing means that once you see the credits roll for the first time, you'll be dying to jump back in all over again.
