20 Predictions For 2017 Video Games' Metacritic Scores

Launch games are always a bit tough to judge no matter the platform, but something as gimmicky as 1-2-Switch will probably do well enough to win over critics as it will basically be a crash course in showing off all of the Switch's nifty new features.

Expect broad acclaim for the game in a party environment, but criticism over the lack of content and lack of joy the game will invite in a solo setting.

In fairness a 75 will probably be viewed as rather generous in retrospect, but amid the excitement of the new console launch, critics will give it a fairly easy ride.
