11. When You Can Spend HOURS Designing Your Character

You know you're onto a winner for any RPG when you spend a good 20 minutes rifling through hair samples, tweaking eyebrow types (and then going with the thin ones anyway) and lowering things like "Nose Bridge Depth" to create someone who looks supremely badass. The third Saints Row stands out as the only game outside of a stricter RPG mould that's devoted the same amount of attention to the various sliders and stats present to create anyone from The Joker to Solid Snake, and it's all the better for it - even if that means certain gamers will spend just as much time changing outfits and musculature every five minutes as they do finishing missions.
