20 Things You Didn't Know About Uncharted

18. Doughnut Drake Was Cut From Uncharted 4

The first three main Uncharted games include a skin called Doughnut Drake, which is simply a much chunkier version of Nate. The skin can be used in singleplayer and multiplayer modes, and it doesn't affect gameplay in any way - it's just meant as a joke.

Sadly though, the hilarity came to an end in Uncharted 4.

While Doughnut Drake was planned to be in the game at first, the skin was ultimately removed. According to director Neil Druckmann, he and his team "didn't want to have a laugh at someone’s expense", and so, the decision was made to axe it.

And just like that, the days of seeing Doughnut Drake wobble across the battlefield came to an end.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
