20 Video Games That Defined 20 Years Of PlayStation
9. Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando
It would seem that Sony isn't short of dynamic duos! The original Ratchet & Clank was an amazing game that breathed new life into the platforming genre by offering a wide range of gameplay types, whether it was good old fashioned platforming, killing enemies with unique weapons such as the Suck Cannon, or partaking in some light puzzle solving. It was its sequel that saw the largest evolutionary leap in the series, adding a brand new galaxy to explore, dozens of crazy new weapons (including the awesome Sheepinator), challenging minigames (or maxigames as they're jokingly called in the game) and light RPG mechanics to the established formula. Ratchet & Clank have gone on to become some of the most beloved characters on PlayStation, starring in over 10 games since they made their debut in 2002. Despite their frequency, the vast majority are thoroughly entertaining, with All4One and Full-Frontal Assault being the only games in the series that should be avoided like the plague.
