3. Ethan Meets Normal Jack
When the ship section comes to an end, Mia finds Ethan in the mold, triggering a surreal sequence in which Ethan is able to interact to Jack and Zoe's consciousness...somehow (presumably because they're all part of the mold hive-mind).
Jack, now resembling a normal human being for the first time, begs Ethan to free his family from Eveline's control. Comparing this distinctly human Jack to the terrifying figure he was early on, it's a genuinely sad scene and a potent reminder that the Bakers weren't really bad people but just victims like Ethan, caught up in something very, very wrong.
