22 Biggest Disappointments Of E3 2015

13. The Only Metroid Reveal Was A 3DS Game Nobody Wants

When Nintendo began talking about Metroid at their digital event, fans were hopeful for the first proper Metroid Prime game since 2007's Corruption. Those hopes were summarily quashed, however, when Nintendo instead unveiled Metroid Prime: Federation Force, a 3DS game torn apart by Metroid fans for its rather mediocre graphics, seeming absence of series protagonist Samus, and overt focus on multiplayer. The complaints were so vocal that the game's trailer got massively disliked on YouTube, and a petition was drawn up to try and get the game cancelled. It looks like Metroid fans might be waiting another year until there's any word on the next core entry into the acclaimed franchise. Nintendo were well aware of what people want, though, so this was just a huge troll on their part.
