Remember at last year's E3 when EA showed off Battlefield Hardline gameplay and, at the end of their demonstration, revealed that the beta was available immediately to PC and PS4 users? It was a rare super-cool moment in an EA conference, and no doubt fans were hoping that they might pull the same trick again this year as they unveiled the first Star Wars: Battlefront gameplay footage. No dice, sadly (pun intended). EA know that his game is going to sell insanely well regardless, so they likely don't see the point in risking a beta turning any potential customers off. Success is guaranteed, why tempt fate by giving gamers more than they need to part with their cash? Still, it would've been nice, right?
