22 Problems Only Gamers Will Understand

14. Wanting To Be Evil, But Feeling Terrible About Doing So

This Is Too Much GifGiphyRight, that's your goody-two-shoes playthrough out of the way! Time to do the whole thing again, but this time, you're going to be the biggest bad guy going. You'll start off well, murdering an innocent here-or-there, punching a reporter in the face or carrying out other minor instances of evilness but, almost inevitably there'll come a point where your decision legitimately matters and the NPCs on the game you're playing will be affected by your decision. At this point, your true resolve to be a badass is tested. Half the time most of us cave and just do the right thing, as the horror of your fellow characters not agreeing with you is far, far worse.

13. *Looks At Stat Screen* - 99%

KonamiKonamiAsk anyone who's played Grand Theft Auto III how long they spent looking for hidden packages, and you'll understand. Nowdays, with the internet everywhere and wikis and tips flying around with reckless abandon, finding everything you need on a game for 100% is easy-peasy. Back in the day though this wasn't the case; you were instead stuck with a crappy map from a gaming magazine and had to track down every-single collectible item in the area and - almost certainly - you were guaranteed to miss just ONE and had to go through them all again to find which one it was. There is no joy greater than the moment you find that last, hidden thing that prevented you from hitting the majestic 100% total.

12. Completely Losing Track Of Time

bombchelle.combombchelle.comYou're pretty sure you've only been gaming for about half an hour but once you've finally tear yourself away from the screen you've found that the world has been taken over by giant ants and the apocalypse has come. Ok, maybe not that bad, but it's so easy as a gamer to find yourself missing out on so much of the day as time simply seems to vanish before your very eyes when you come out of a gaming spell. People have lost entire chunks of their lives playing RPGs - you can completely skip over an entire decade thanks to Wacraft and Skyrim combined.
