34. Battlecry Looks Like A F2P Game From A Decade Ago
Easily the strangest and weakest addition to Bethesda's conference was Battlecry, a multiplayer action game with worldwide beta sign-ups now open. The game was first revealed at last year's E3, but little seems to have changed since then, meaning that it still suffers from woefully flat textures and reeks of being a rather mild Team Fortress 2 rip-off, or better yet, a free-to-play game from years past. In its defense, it does have a pretty amusing dismemberment mechanic, but with the visuals feeling so far behind the times, it's frankly astounding that any developer would dare show it off on the grandest, most critical stage in the world. Unsurprisingly, Twitter didn't take long to start tearing into it either.
