4 Video Games That Prove The Review System Is Broken

1. God Hand

Godhand01 IGN review: 3.0 And to round it off, let's look at one review in particular. Probably the most famous bad review of all time, God Hand received an abominable 3.0 from IGN. The review, still available for reading on the website, makes for some chilling reading, especially if you've played the game. Because God Hand is great. A third person brawler with an exaggerated plot of nonsense is just plain fun. The fighting system is awkward to start with because there is a learning curve, much like Killer is Dead and The Wonderful 101 on this list, and that is maybe a reason (but no excuse) for the review. Reviewers' harsh deadlines don't really allow for someone to spend tens of hours working on learning a fighting system. That being said, IGN's review is just an abysmal piece that seems dead set on moaning about gripes that simply aren't a big deal. God Hand is not the greatest game of all time but IGNs review might be the worst review I've ever read. What poorly reviewed games do you love? Are you guilty of judging a game on one review score?
