11. The ads
This is something I only stumbled across recently, Zelda TV ads! Ok, so we've all seen
Robin Williams and the epic beard showing off the game, but Japan go all out and I feel somewhat disappointed that we don't get the same treatment. Have a look! http://youtu.be/Trl0cvBFgCk And yet we get stuck with
this!
12. Guru-Guru (The Song of Storms Guy)
Probably my favourite minor character from the series, Guru-Guru first appeared in the Ocarina of Time. He'd happily play his music box which he kept in time with the windmill, but play the song of storms, which makes the windmill spin faster and all hell breaks lose. The guy has a serious problem, he is enraged by Link for making him play faster to keep up with the windmill. His array of expressions are so disturbing and go to two totally different extremes. I wouldn't like to get on this guys bad side!
13. The Coolest Fashion
Part of the tale, the green tunic from legend. In the Wind Waker, each boy is adorned in green when coming of age as a homage to the hero of time. Each game has featured link in the green tunic and each time it's been slightly different, the simple robe from ocarina all the way to the darker more mature texture of that from Twilight Princess. The tunic is clearly associated with Link and the series which makes this one of the most memorable gaming costumes.
14. Hey, Hey Link!
Navi, possibly the most memorable characters from the series and some would even argue one of the best sidekicks of all time. Other's however, would complain that she seems to be the only fairy you can't stick in a bottle. Whether you loved her or hated her, there was times when she was so infuriatingly annoying. 'Hey!', 'Hey, Listen!', 'Link!' Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable character and potentially the best Zelda sidekick. If you are one of the fans that enjoy Navi, then try watching this.
Humble Punch explain why Navi could be annoying if she wasn't a fairy but... a large bearded man with wings. http://youtu.be/R6zl6YBbqgY
15. Cartoon
Thankfully this article isn't called 'The Greatest Cartoon of All Time', as it was pretty poor. However, the appeal was there, the popularity of Zelda was so strong that the public wanted more, unfortunately they were given this. The cast were there but the story wasn't, and as you have seen earlier, Link's excruciatingly annoying catchphrase. The show ran for one series.
