5 Best & 5 Worst Video Game Sequels Of This Generation

1. The Good... Assassin's Creed 2

The first Assassin€™s Creed game was an interesting, ambitious but ultimately a flawed experience, the concept was fantastic but the unlike Altair, Ubisoft didn€™t quite nail the execution. In truth the improvements necessary to take Assassin's Creed 2 into blockbuster territory were obvious. Mission variety was top of the list when it came to improvements in Assassin's Creed 2, the format of get contract, scout target, stab target, got old pretty quickly in the first game. This time around the story felt cohesive and developed overtime, add to that a much more interesting character in the form of Ezio, AC2 had found the spark the first game was missing. Arguably the real star of the second game wasn't the improved gameplay, story, or protagonist, but the time period of Renaissance Italy. Vibrant and colourful it may not have been able to sustain three outings but first time around, it was the final piece of the brilliant Assassin's Creed 2 puzzle.
