5 Brilliant Directors Who Should Helm Video Game Adaptations

1. Chistopher Nolan - Metal Gear Solid

MGS Cast: Solid Snake - Christian Bale Liquid Snake - Hugh Jackman Hal Emmerich - Cillian Murphy Meryl Silverburgh - Amy Mc Adams Revolver Ocelot - Josh Brolin Sniper Wolf - Scarlett Johannson Christopher Nolan is the only man I would want to bring Hideo Kojima's excellent stealth based series to the big screen. Nolan has already shown he can handle huge franchises with his masterful Dark Knight Trilogy completely re-inventing comic book movie adaptations, so creating a unique world as epic as the Metal Gear Solid Universe should be right up his alley. Nolan would make the series his own with his trademark realism and character focus, but he would also have to embrace the more outlandish aspects of Kojima's world - a challenge I'm sure he would love to tackle. His cast would comprise of regular collaborators such as "Batman" himself, Christian Bale who would once again do battle with his "The Prestige" co-star Hugh Jackman. Cillian Murphy would make an excellent "Otacon" while Amy Mc Adams would play Meryl Silverburgh with ease. Josh Brolin would be an excellent "Revolver Ocelot" and Snake's most infamous foe "Sniper Wolf" seems a match made in heaven for bombshell Scarlett Johannson. There are plenty of ways this series could go but by sticking to the original story-line, Nolan would be able to lay the foundation for what could be an awesome trilogy. So what movie would you like to see get the big screen treatment?
