2. Final Fantasy IX
Whenever the word remake is mentioned with Final Fantasy, it's generally about Final Fantasy VII which astounds me. Because out of all the worlds in the FF universe, in my opinion, FF IX is the best in the series. FF IX has perhaps the best characters, an original distinct look, beautiful hair rising music and a story that rivals any in it's franchise, and remake would help shine how beautiful it's world is. And it's also worth noting that it's Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi's personal favorite, just saying. FF IX could take inspiration from the cartoonish world of Ni No Kuni, as the majority of the cast resembles Studio Ghibli's art style. Voice acting would be great boon as well, making the adventurous Zidane more entertaining to watch, noble Steiner's humourous attempts to enforce his code as a knight, and delivering the heart wrenching truth of Vivi's origin and purpose of his birth. Final Fantasy IX could rekindle the love most Final Fantasy fans have lost because of lack luster of future sequels, and remember the good times.
