5 Classic Video Games That Should Get iPad Release

1. Lemmings

Why isn't Lemmings on the AppStore? It feels like the iPad was made for a game like this. Originally released on the Commodore Amiga in 1991 controlling this game with a mouse was frustrating at best, but to play this classic on a touch screen would be a breath of fresh air. A timeless puzzle game with hundreds of levels, spawning several sequels. Guiding these suicidal rodents (with green hair and blue robes?) towards an exit would seem simple, but with various obstacles such as water, lava and not to mention fatal plummeting falls, provides the twist. Attempt to control your lemmings to overcome them by setting designated tasks such as diggers, floaters and blockers as they stumble mindlessly to safety. With control of so many lemmings casualties are expected, but as long as you get a certain percentage of them to safety, progression to the next stage is achieved. Let's hope we see these green haired creatures hit the tablet scene soon - Guaranteed to be a hit.
