4. The Sith Lords Restored

Game Required For Mod: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Set five years after the events of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. You play as a former Jedi Knight exiled from the Jedi Order, is referred to as €œThe Exile€ or €œJedi Exile€ (later named Meetra Surik in the Old Republic novels). Throughout the game, the player€™s character restores their connection to the Force while trying to stop the Sith, and travels to six planets to either help or hinder the Republic€™s efforts to bring peace and stability to the galaxy. Basic enough stuff. This game had big shoes to fill and it didn€™t. It was a letdown to many, while not being a bad or unplayable game. It brought nothing new to the table; it looks a little worse than KOTOR (thanks Obsidian), the gameplay is the same as KOTOR and it feels like DLC rather than a full title itself. That is the fundamental issue with this game. It feels unfinished. But to be fair, that's because it is an unfinished game! In 2006, after a discovery of €œlost content€ on the PC version, rumours were awash through the internet about Lucas Arts pressuring Obsidian to wrap up the game before it was ready. Spurring independent efforts to restore the game using this lost content. Team Gizka restored much of the €œlost content.€ And in 2009, this fan-restored KOTOR II was released that drastically expanded the game. Despite this later restoration, the original release still leaves a poor taste in the mouths of fans who wanted and expected more from this series. This is a must get for fans who wanted more. You can get it here.
