5 Great 2013 Video Games That Deserve Movie Adaptations

2. Dead Rising 3

In terms of whacky zombie fare, Dead Rising 3 cornered the market in 2013. If you ever wanted to duct tape large cutting devices together to create an even larger cutting device, the hack up zombies with it, DR3 has you covered. There's always a place for that kind of zombie flick in Hollywood. Not every zombie movie needs to have some cultural commentary or serious undertones, and a Dead Rising movie might be the type of thing to pump a little undead life back into the genre. No need to overdo it, just have a few dudes start hacking up a hoard of monsters and let the chips fall where they may. Go over the top with gore and corniness and don't make people think too much, and you've got a winner. Should Look Like: Machete meets Army of Darkness - gory absurdity that doesn't take itself too seriously and lets heads roll, leaving you with the feeling that you just enjoyed some harmless, pulpy fun when it's over.
