5 Great X-Men Video Games & 5 That Sucked

1. Honorable Mention: Deadpool (Multiple Platforms, 2013)

Let's face reality — it was only a matter of time until Deadpool broke out of his comic book confines and leaped into another medium. Debuting in his eponymous video game years before he graced the silver screen, 2013's Deadpool was hilarious, highly engaging, and worth subsequent playthroughs just to catch all of the jokes.

As great of a game as it was — and still is during our drought out X-Men related titles — a case can be made to not include Deadpool among the other X-Men video games.

Similar to how his films existed in their own world that was loosely tethered to the main X-Men cinematic outings — thus, making his films hard to fairly rank against the others — it feels slightly unnatural to try and shoehorn him into a ranking of other X-Men video games.

An opinion that's open to dispute, all gamers can at least agree that Deadpool was great and that it sucks that we were left with such a sweet but short game.
