Final Form Games

In shoot ‘em up style video games, the storyline takes a backseat to the action at times. The storylines in these games are simple enough to be downright understated or even non-existent. However, Jamestown+ has an enticing story that flirts on the line of downright absurd to campy. Jamestown+ reimagines United States history by having the player play as a renegade who is desperately trying to get back into the Crown’s good graces by helping defend the recently colonized Mars against attacks from the Spanish and aliens alike.

There are four equally awesome da Vinci like flying machines for the player to choose from, and all of them have their own special weapon on top of their customizable primary weapon. This is another shoot ‘em up game where using the co-operative mode is a must as it allows up to four players at a time, which helps preserve lives through teammate saving. Players are also given the ability to change the difficulty level and the game treats completing the mission on certain difficulties like a medal posted over the level.

However, when a player progresses further in the game, more is expected of them. For example, to beat the game the player has to beat the final mission on at least the second or hardest difficulty level the game offers.
